Lingo was launched against a market-oriented idea, with blockchain representing the fastest technology adoption in history. 200 million people are currently in the blockchain space; blockchain adoption is growing at 113% per year, twice the rate of the Internet in the 1990s, which means that 1 billion people are expected to embrace Web3 by 2025.

Based on conservative estimates, Lingo sees a 12-15% "return" in the form of miles for investors in year 1, with increasing returns over the subsequent years as investors add to their real estate assets.

Based on the assumption that Lingo generated around USD 10 million/year in real estate – accumulating to USD 50 million/year after five years – and assuming a 6% yield, an investment of USD 1,000 in year is expected to create a 30% return in year 5.

Of its 2.5% transaction fee, Lingo uses 70% to buy real estate. The remainder is spent on a mix of working capital (employees, technical innovations, etc., 20%) as well as ongoing marketing and branding (10%).

Lingo buys real estate before launching the token, and thus protects the investment of its investors by 50%. In a worst-case scenario, investors would experience a downside of only 50%, while the upside potential could be 200x.

Lingo is currently closing the private round, only onboarding small investors. There are two options to onboard: i) on a token-only basis (before the public sale), with a minimum ticket of USD 50,000, or ii) via a USD 500,000 ticket, which gives exposure to both the token and equity. As a next step, Lingo is planning to launch an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) with a tier 1 exchange.
