Executive Chairman Ian Tchacos gives an overview of oil and gas exploration and production company ADX Energy. ADX Energy is ASX-listed, but its focus is entirely on Europe, with a particular emphasis on Austria. While its current portfolio represents both onshore and offshore energy operations, the company is transforming its business to onshore explorations.

Callum Macpherson, Head of Commodities at Investec, sees China as an uncertainty with regard to the demand for oil. A reopening of the country in 2023 would help increase demand and benefit the oil price. As for the supply of oil, Callum highlights the OPEC meeting in 2022 which decided to cut output limits, while for the supply of gas, Russia is seen to hold the keys for Europe. There's uncertainty as to how the gas inventory can be rebuild in 2023. More broadly, Callum considers oil prices as strongly correlated with equities while the high gas prices in Europe seriously impact equity markets and pose a threat to the sustainability of the European industry.

Chief Financial Officer Andrew Matharu gives an overview of gas development company Hartshead Resources, 100% owner and operator of License P2607 in the Southern Gas Basin. Hartshead Resources is ASX-listed, and has a three-phase development portfolio. As part of phase I, the company is currently advancing the Somerville and Anning Gas Fields with 2P reserves of 301.5 Bcf of gas to supply the UK energy market through the Bacton Hub.

CEO Kris Martinick gives an overview of energy company Botala Energy. Founded in 2018, the ASX-listed company is developing hybrid projects in Botswana, and currently exploring and developing the Serowe gas project. Botala Energy is also working with Solar Finland to develop a solar panel manufacturing project in Botswana.
